Verna Leona Blake 94,of Mineral Springs in North Conway died December 8, 2012 of natural causes. Born January 9,1918 in Eaton, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of Maurice and Sadie (Pendexter) Thompson of Eaton. Verna lived in Conway all of her life and worked at Birchcraft on Pleasant Street..
Verna leaves behind her nephew F. Roger Butterfield of Portland, Maine and two nieces, Virginia Sawyer of Conway and Colleen Doe of Mineral Springs in North Conway. She was predeceased by her sister Edna Thompson Banfill and her brother Newell B Thompson
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1100 a.m. in the Snowville Cemetery in Eaton with the Rev. Gilman Healy officiating.
Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of the arrangements.
