Steven Lee Hall, aged 69, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was born on May 26, 1955. Steven's life was marked by his varied career, having worked as a salvage specialist, mechanic, and property manager, showcasing his versatility and hands-on skills. Steven was a devoted family man and is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Justin Florance; son, Steven J. Hall; step-daughter, Renee Smith; step-son, Shawn Bryant (Cally); sisters, Mary Daley (Joe) and Wendi Shaw (Ray); eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. His life was also touched by the loss of his son, Matthew Richard Hall; mother, Barbara Sylvester; step-father, Joseph Sylvester; sister, JoAnn Smith; and brother, William (Billy) Hall, all of whom preceded him in death. Steven attended Kennett High School, and though his educational journey did not extend into higher education, his professional and personal life flourished through his practical skills and dedication to his work. He cherished spending time with his family, an interest that brought him great joy and fulfillment throughout his life. He had other past interests in fishing, boating, and playing cards. Steven's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to family continues to inspire those he left behind. Arrangements were made through Furber Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A visitation will be held at Furber Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21 from 4:00-6:00 pm and a graveside service will be held at Albany Cemetery on Friday, November 22 at 11:00 am.
