Robert Anthony Scribner Sr, 62 of Conway passed away peacefully in his home on July 22, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Saugus Massachusetts and after a colorful childhood in the commonwealth he moved with his future wife Michele to Conway in the early 1980s to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and raise a family. Bob married his lifelong sweetheart Michele on April 28, 1984 at Our lady of the mountain church. Bob was a longtime member of the business community in the valley and cared deeply about the area he called home. He was an avid fisherman and had recently purchased a new bass boat that he was looking forward to enjoying after his treatment. Bob had a heart of gold and an empathetic nature that most people could not dream of. A loyal husband and fiercely loving father, family was always his number one priority. He was a man of faith and a true believer in the greater good. Bob is survived by his wife Michele of Conway his daughter Samantha and her fiancé Chris also of Conway. His Son Bob Jr, wife Amanda and granddaughter Eleanor of Manchester, NH. Sisters Carlyn, Paula, Linda and Carolyn, brothers Paul, Philip, Harry, Mark and several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his biological father Raymond Bean and brother Raymond Jr as well as his step father Philip “Sonny” Viola and his mother Janice Viola. Public visiting hours will be Sunday July, 30 from 4pm to 6pm at Furber and White funeral home in North Conway.
