Bob Santoro, born April 3, 1962, in Long Island, NY, was a loving father and husband. He studied architecture and design at the New York Institute of Technology. After meeting his wife Karen in 1990 in Ridgefield, CT, they moved to Atlanta, GA then to Montecito, CA. Bob ultimately resided in his summer home in Jackson, NH. In Jackson, he became deeply involved in his community. He loved the family’s yellow lab Nellie who was always seen by his side wherever he went. Some of his biggest contributions to the Mount Washington Valley were his design and development of the North Conway Community Center landscaping project, many volunteer hours to Tin Mountain Conservation Center, Neighbor to Neighbor, and the Mountain Garden Club, as well as the many residential projects he completed from his local business. Bob struggled with severe depression following the passing of his wife and son, which ultimately contributed to his own passing. He is predeceased by his wife Karen, son Ian, and parents Robert Sr. and Diane Santoro, and is survived by his son Dawson. Arrangements were made through Furber Funeral Home and Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to either Tin Mountain Conservation Center (more info: https://tinmountain.org) or the Jackson Community Church (more info: jxncc.org).
