Robert Kinnarney, 74 of Brownfield Maine passed away on September 16, 2023 unexpectedly in his home. Bob was born on February 26, 1949 in Framingham, Massachusetts. He was the son of Robert and Rita Kinnarney. He was the oldest of three siblings, his brother Thomas and sister Kathleen. Bob graduated from Marian Parochial High School in 1967. In March of 1968 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Where he did maintenance on B-52’s, during the Vietnam War. Bob returned home to Mass. He was very proud of his first purchase when he got home, an orange 69’ RS Camaro. He then got a great job working for the telephone company. But Bob didn’t stay put for very long. He traveled across country in his van to become a deep sea diver, in California. Years later he landed himself up North. Bob moved to Brownfield Maine in 1977, living out of his van. Shortly after he relocated to the Valley, where he moved into the Whitaker Woods Home. During his early years in the valley, you could find him rock climbing, running/training for a marathon, hiking, fishing and cross country skiing. Just to name a few, Bob was a busy man. He was painting for a living. Until he found his true passion, masonry. He was a hard working, talented Mason for over 40 years. You can find his work at the Integrity health coaching centers and “the hole” at Delaney’s hole in the wall. Along with countless others throughout the valley and beyond. He had a true eye for it, his work was a piece of art. In the mid 80’s Bob got married, bought a beautiful home in Conway, NH and started his family. Anyone that knew Bob, knew that he was proud that his children and himself were sober. He himself had been part of the recovery community for over 40 years. He was the happiest on his Harley, at the gym or surrounded by family. He loved meditating and classical rock, especially The Rolling Stones. Eating his way through the Fryeburg Fair, day trips to OOB, grabbing a bite to eat at his favorite spots and his walks on the Mountain Division Trail with his dog, Mason. Bob is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John J. Kinnarney and Mildred Kinnarney. His maternal grandparents, Arthur Lynch and Marion Lynch. Also, his parents Rita and Robert Kinnarney. Bob is survived by his daughter Kelli Kinnarney, her partner Nicholas Lylis and their son’s Beckhem and Louis. His son Joseph Kinnarney, his partner Allison Darneille and their daughter Remi. His partner Lisa Ruiz. And many close friends that felt like family. The visiting hours will be at Furber & White Funeral Home on Saturday September 30th from 1-3pm. Bob’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
