Patricia Libby

Patricia J. Libby, 61, of North Conway, NH died on May 9, 2010 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, following a brief illness.

Pat was the daughter of Robert W. Libby and the late Katherine Calista (Allan) Libby. She was educated in the Windham, Maine public schools, graduated from the University of Maine and the Western New England Law School. She was a member of the Connecticut Bar and the American Bar Association. She was retired from the Connecticut State Police as detective. Following her retirement Pat moved back to New Hampshire from Tolland, CT. She was an avid reader and skier; She loved her home and enjoyed maintaining the grounds and planting her gardens. Her other love was the family property on the Saco River where she enjoyed many enjoyable moments. She enjoyed politics at all levels and was a member of the Conway Budget Committee.

Pat is survived by her father, Robert W. Libby and her stepmother, Marillyn; her brother, Allan Mike Libby and his wife, Debra of Windham, Maine; two nieces, Elizabeth A. Greene and her husband, Tracy and their three children in Edgewood, WA, Rachel Herrera and her two children of Selma, CA; an aunt, Ann F. Griffin of Scarborough, Maine and many cousins.

Arrangements are being made by Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway, NH. At Pat's request, there are to be no services. Final disposition will be made privately by her father and brother.
