Patricia Shaner Jackson passed away peacefully at home with family on September 24, 2012. She has journeyed on to reunite with her dearly departed husband, Donald Jackson. She was born on October 27, 1928 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the youngest daughter of Frank and Edna Shaner. During her life, she enjoyed many travels and artistic interests, which she displayed in her homes and gardens and in the love of her family. Her remaining family members include her daughter and son in law, Donna and Jeff Stuck, her grandson Jarett Manno, his wife Elizabeth, and so many of her final days were also blessed with the love, laughter, affection and smiles endeared by her great grandson Jakob Manno and her grand dog, Diamond.
Patricia is also survived by her sisters Marjorie Brown, Phyllis Elmer and Elaine and Phil Gustafson all of Atlantic County, New Jersey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours, as the family has chosen a special gathering for her celebration of life. If you desire to remember her, please make a donation to The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire in Conway, N.H. or Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Fryeburg, Maine.
The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
