Pasquale John Grieco

P. John “Pat” Grieco, 88, passed away after a brief illness on June 19th in North Conway, NH surrounded by his wife and family. Pat was born in Lynn, MA and spent his childhood in both Marblehead and Swampscott, MA. After high school, Pat attended Burdett College in Lynn, MA and went to work for Holyoke Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Salem, MA. He eventually became Assistant Treasurer, and then in 1972, Vice President and Manager of Office Services. Pat retired in 1991 and moved to North Conway, NH where he enjoyed spending time “up country”. Pat leaves behind a wife, Faith Martin-Grieco, who was by his side when he passed. In addition to living in North Conway, Pat and Faith spent many winters enjoying the sun of North Fort Myers, FL. Pat was predeceased by his first wife of 45 years, Connie Grieco, and was the son of John and Barbara Grieco of Marblehead. Besides Faith, Pat leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. They include his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Diane Grieco of Orleans, MA, granddaughter Abby, her husband Jake Parenteau, of Bridgewater, MA granddaughter Grace Grieco of Harwich, MA; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Melinda Grieco of Ipswich, MA, grandson Nicholas Grieco and fiance Kina of Barrington, NH, granddaughter Brianna and her husband Tyler Shain, great grandchildren, William and Benjamin Shain all of Ipswich, MA; daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Matthew Griffin and granddaughter Rachel Griffin all of Hampton, NH. Pat also leaves behind his best friend, Bob Bowman of Jackson, NH. Pat requested a small private family ceremony which will be held on July 20, 2023. Arrangements being made by Furber & White Funeral Home, North Conway, NH.
