Norman Hughson Tregenza of Silver Lake, Madison, New Hampshire passed away on Wednesday, October 31st from Alzheimers' Disease.
Mr. Tregenza graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Economics and from New York University with an M.B.A. He served in the Reserved Officers Training Corps and rose to the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
He began his career as an investment officer at Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association. He then worked for Republic Funding Corporation and subsequently formed his own company. Mr. Tregenza was also a co-founder and director of Satellite Syndicated Systems and Southern Satellite Systems Incorporated. He also served on a number of boards including St. Lawrence University.
Among his happiest experiences were golfing with friends at Indian Mound Golf Club, boating on Silver Lake, and his 1985 guest conductorship for the Portland Symphony Orchestra in Schouler Park. He was active in the Madison Church, and a dedicated member of the R.O.M.E.O. Thursday lunch group.
He is survived by his wife Alyce and their two children, Norman Tregenza of North Conway and Suzanne Tregenza Moore and her husband Kevin Moore of Basking Ridge, N.J.; his sister Carol T. Lyman of North Conway; by two grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, Norman and Marion Hughson Tregenza, and by his step-father, Dr. George B. Kuite of North Conway.
Visiting hours will be held at Furber and White Funeral Home, North Conway, from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, November 3rd. A celebration service will take place at the Madison Church, Conway Road, Madison, at 100 p.m. on Sunday, November 4th, Pastor Sean Dunker-Bendigo will preside.
