Nancy H. McIntosh passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 22nd 2025, at the age of 100. She was born February 25, 1925 to Frank and Effie Reynolds of Walpole, Massachusetts and graduated from Walpole High in 1942. She attended UNH for Occupational Therapy. She married Robert A McIntosh in 1944. While raising her family of 5, she lived in Walpole, Medfield and Dover MA. Her later years were spent between Intervale and Moultonborough, NH, and Venice FL. As a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, she took great pride in raising her children and nurturing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very talented and gifted in cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. She loved to ski with her family, snowmobile, and led an aquacise class into her late 70’s. Her smile warmed a room; she was a great listener and storyteller. She volunteered her time at her church, school and other activities. As the family grew, she hosted many Christmas’ and Thanksgiving’s, always making everyone feel welcome and loved. Nancy is survived by her 4 children, her daughters Joy Check (Richard) of North Conway, Sandra McGee (Stuart-deceased) of New Jersey, and Nancy-Ann Vincent (Roger) of Moultonborough, and a son Donald McIntosh (Janet) of Florida. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren (and spouses) and 24 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 54 years, Robert A. McIntosh Sr., a son Robert A. McIntosh Jr., 1 sister, 2 brothers and a granddaughter. Funeral Arrangements were made through Furber & White Funeral Home and Cremation Services.Visiting hours will be held at Furber Home on May 29, 2025 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a service at the same location. Burial to follow at the North Conway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, she would have loved a heartfelt donation to your favorite worthy cause.
