Michael Hollis

Michael Jay Hollis, aged 63, of Conway, NH passed away suddenly on January 25, 2023. Originally from
Halifax, MA he was the son of the late Roger W. Hollis and Loretta A. (Correa) Hollis. Michael was the
father of the late Shannon J. (Hollis) Yount.
He graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School, class of 1978. Shortly after graduating, Mike moved
to Hayward, California where he worked for the parks department (HARD). Upon his return to
Massachusetts, he was the greenskeeper for Lakeville Country Club as well as other local golf courses.
Mike continued his career in golf course work until his retirement at Bridgton Highlands Country Club in
Bridgton, Maine, where he lived until recently when he moved to Conway.
Michael was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, campfires, and would often find solace in reading
the daily newspaper by a lake.
He is survived by his loving brother, Wayne A. Hollis, of Halifax, MA and his granddaughters, Jocelyn
Aandahl of Vallejo, California and Addison Garcia of Oakley, California. Mike will also be missed by numerous cousins
and countless friends.
