Michael Hally, 65, of Center Conway, NH, passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2025. Michael is predeceased by his parents William and Ruth Hally. Although born in CT, Michael moved to Conway, NH during his early youth following the purchase, by his parents, of the Cove Campground on Conway Lake. Life at the lake and in the surrounding mountains fostered Michael’s life-long passion for the outdoors and all its activities. Upon his graduation from Fryeburg Academy, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and received training as an aviation mechanic. Upon his discharge from the Marine Corps, Michael was employed by a private, cargo airline company with a base of operations in Africa. As manager and flight crew member, Michael traveled extensively throughout the world ultimately experiencing the cultures of 42 countries. Michael eventually returned to New Hampshire, volunteered at the Loki Wolf refuge, was a member of the Carroll County Fish and Game Club and practiced the art of Tai Chi. Michael is survived by his sister, nieces and great nephews. In celebration of Michael’s life, donations may be made to an animal rescue foundation of your choice.
