Michael P. Clemons, 56, also known as “Clem,” passed away suddenly on December 2, 2025. He was born on July 15, 1969. Raised in Jackson, New Hampshire, Michael graduated from Kennett High School before attending Eckerd College, where he played baseball and earned his business degree. For the past ten years, he worked at Camping World, forming many lasting friendships along the way. Known for his infectious smile, generous spirit, and warm presence, Michael had a remarkable gift for making others feel valued. His loud, energetic personality was matched only by the size of his heart. When Michael showed up, you felt it—in the best and brightest way. He loved spending time with family and friends, was always willing to lend a hand, and had a way of brightening any room he entered. He cherished his pets, Colt and Mojo, and adored his niece, nephew, grandchildren, and godchildren. Michael’s passions included hunting, golf, and spending time outdoors. He also loved umpiring and refereeing youth sports, taking great pride in watching “his kids” grow and develop through athletics. Michael was deeply devoted to his family, and his roles as “Papa,” uncle, and godfather brought him immense joy. Michael was a son, brother, uncle, godfather, beloved partner, and an amazing friend to many. He was the son of the late Michael P. Clemons, who passed in 2009, and Sarah J. Clemons of Jackson, NH. He is survived by his loving sister, Kara van Lingen, and her husband, Theo, of Uxbridge, MA; his niece and godchild, Mackenzie van Lingen of Bozeman, MT; and his nephew, Austin van Lingen of Uxbridge, MA. He is also survived by his partner, Andrea Ela (Burnell) of Conway, NH; her children, Joseph Smith and his partner, Kursten; Broughton and his wife, Bambi; and Gabbi Shackford and her partner, Lucas Limmer; as well as grandchildren Caleb Smith, godchild Dax Smith, and Braylynne and Brantley Shackford. He is further survived by Andrea’s brother, Mike Burnell, and his wife, Julie, and their sons, Dylan and Jared Burnell, along with Andrea’s mother, Laurie Burnell. Michael will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, sense of humor, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be lovingly welcomed in heaven by his father, Michael, Andrea’s father, Alton “Burnie” Burnell, and his loyal dog, Ruger. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 14, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Furber Funeral Home, 2925 White Mountain Highway. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to Friends of Conway Rec, P.O. Box 44, Center Conway, NH 03813.
