Michael Brewer

Michael G. Brewer, 51, of Glen, died November 7, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, MA, the son of Gerald and Janet (Guilmette) Brewer, he lived in Tampa, FL for 15 years, lived in Walnut Cove, NC for five years and in Orlando, FL for four years, prior to moving to Glen in 2009.
He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Michael was a manager of Bennigans Grill and Tavern in Florida and North Carolina for several years. He had been employed at the Eagle Mtn. House in Jackson for the past year as a chef.
Mr. Brewer whole life was cooking and he was very active with the Boy Scouts for many years.
The family includes his wife, Cynthia J. Brewer of Glen; three daughters, Jessica M. Brewer of Puerto Rico, Star R. Lavelle of Mississippi and Jasmine R. Stanford of Glen; three sons, Johnny R. Stanford of Glen, Jason M. Brewer of Florida and Michael G. Brewer II of Glen; his parents of Sebring, FL; two sisters, Kathy Brewer of Fall River, MA and Lori Williamson of Arkansas; a brother, Jay Brewer of Texas and three nephews.
A Memorial Service of his life will be celebrated Wednesday November 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mountains Church in North Conway. There will be no visiting hours.
The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
