Melissa Donald Obituary


Melissa Lynne Donald, devoted mother, daughter and wife passed away on Friday, December 24th. Born in North Conway on December 5th, 1968, Melissa spent much of her youth in Rhode Island and Arkansas before returning to the Mount Washington Valley at the age of twelve.

A mother of three, Melissa's children, Andrew, Helena and Christopher were the most important people in her life. She constantly reminded everyone how much she loved them and how proud she was of them.

She is deeply loved and missed by her husband Skip, who truly believed they brought out the best in each other and had planned to grow old together.

Melissa's joys included singing, playing POGO and Sims on her computer and spending time with her family. She collected dolphin figurines, dearly loved her pets, enjoyed Irish music, and dreamed of someday visiting Ireland with her husband.

Melissa is survived by her husband, David "Skip" Donald III of Conway, her children Andrew J. Fryslie, Helena A. Fryslie and Christopher P. Fryslie, all of Conway. She is also survived by her maternal Grandmother, Eleanor Sutton of Conway, her parents Paul and Jacquelyn LeBlanc of Conway, her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Paige Spoonts of Kennebunk, ME and 6 half siblings, Lorie Pandora of Memphis, TN, Lisa Frechette of Albany NH, William "Scott" Dailey of South Paris, ME, Leslyn McDermott of Center Conway, NH, Michael Dailey of Norway, ME and Matthew Dailey, also of Norway, ME. She was pre-deceased by her biological father William "Bruce" Dailey, her brother Jeffrey Dailey and her son Jacob Donald.

A 1987 graduate of Kennett High School, Melissa continued her education at Granite State College where she was planning on receiving an associate's degree in Business. She contributed to many local organizations, including serving as secretary for B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #2055, and was a member of the Mount Washington Valley Dart League and the local TOPS chapter.
