Marjorie I. O'Connor, 86, of Conway died October 12, 2012 at the Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Woburn, MA. Born in Lincoln, Maine, she lived in Newton Highlands, MA for over 35 years prior to moving to Conway in 1976.
Mrs. O'Connor had been a hostess at the former Fandangles' in North Conway for several years.
She was an avid golfer and member of the North Conway Country Club and had been a volunteer at the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce. Marjorie also enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and other crafts.
The family includes four daughters, Carol A. Mandile of Bellingham, MA, Maureen A. Garrette of Conway, Karen M. Miles of Plymouth, MA and Sheila K. Quint of Conway; three sons, Robert J. O'Connor of South Carolina, James L. O'Connor of Stoneham, MA and Paul B. O'Connor of Glen; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a sister, Pauline McGovern of St. Petersburg, FL.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway with the Rev. Gilman E. Healy, officiating. Burial will be in the Conway Village Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
