Obituary


Marguerite "Peg" O'Silk, 93, of North Conway died November 23, 2009 at the Mineral Springs of North Conway. Born in Conway, the daughter of Grover and Mary (Jenness) Willey, she had been a lifelong resident of the Mt. Washington Valley.

Mrs. O'Silk was a display designer for over twenty years at the former Yield House. She had also owned and operated the Attic Shop on West Main Street in Conway for many years.

Peg was an avid skier and she enjoyed buying antiques and spending time with family and friends at various outings.

She was a member of Ralph Shirley American Legion Post # 46 Ladies Auxiliary in Conway.

The family includes four nephews, Charles H. Brosnan of White River Jct, VT, Ronald L. Brosnan of Center Conway, Glendon M. Brosnan of Roseville, CA and Donald L. Brosnan of Santa Barbara, CA.

She was predeceased by her companion of many years, Samuel Gulotta in 2003, a brother, Maurice Willey in 2003 and a sister, Florence Brosnan in 1943.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday November 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Conway Village Cemetery with Pastor Sue Davidson, officiating. There will be no visiting hours.
