Kelly Ryder Rines Kelly Rines, 57, of Tamworth, N.H., died peacefully with her family by her side on August 26, 2025, after fighting a courageous year-long battle of stage (four) breast cancer. Born in Middletown, Connecticut, on March 10, 1968, to Alton and Sally (Clark) Ryder, Kelly was the youngest of their six children. She was a 1986 graduate of Kennett High School. Kelly worked hard in many capacities including various managerial positions, post office driver in Silver Lake, owner of Honey’s Delight Bakery in Ossipee, and her most recent job was working seasonally at Club Motorsports Race Track in Tamworth. Kelly also contributed to many volunteer opportunities and was an advocate yfor cancer awareness. Regardless of the work, Kelly gave her full potential and more, with honor, respect and her infectious smile. Kelly was married to Thomas Rines of Conway, who graduated from Kennett in 1981. Kelly and Tom celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on March 21, 2025. During their time together, they spent 5 years in the Mount Washington Valley, 13 years in Vero Beach, F.L., and came back to Tamworth N.H. in 2003 where they raised their family. Kelly was very proud of her two children, Abigail Gervais (Ryan), 30, of Auburn, M.E., and Steven Rines, 21, of Tamworth, N.H.. Perhaps her biggest blessings were her grandchildren, Hazel and Murphy Gervais. She is predeceased by her parents, Alton and Sally (Clark) Ryder. Kelly is survived by her husband Thomas; children Abigail and Steven; grandchildren Hazel and Murphy; brother Michael Ryder; sisters Jodi Creeron; Judy McCarthy; Trudy Creeron; Tracy Woodcock; and her several beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family members. A special thank you to Kelly’s friends, coworkers and the members at Club Motorsports for helping her to “Slay the Dragon”. Kelly will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family, her compassion, her love for the outdoors, and her honesty. For those who knew Kelly, there was no “gray” area. Her passion for cancer awareness and following routine health screenings drives her family’s choice to recommend donating to Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers (Jensfriends.org). Visiting hours will be held at Furber and White Funeral Home on Monday, September 8th from 4-6pm (2925 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway, N.H. 03860). A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Forever in our hearts.
