Kathleen Miller

Kathleen Marie (Blum) Miller, 92, of Center Conway passed away January 12, 2013 at Mineral Springs in North Conway. She was born in 1920 in Detroit, MI, the 3rd of 5 children of Arthur C. and Marie Cecile (Walbur) Blum.
She met and married Robert C. Miller in 1944. Being a Navy family, they traveled the country with Kathleen making a loving home for daughter Kathleen Sharon and Robert, Jr. The family settled in Rhode Island after retirement in 1970.
In 1982, Bob, Sr. and Kathleen discovered the Mount Washington Valley and fell in love with it. They built a house in Effingham and later bought a condominium in Center Conway.
Kathleen is survived by her children Kathleen S. Dwyer and Robert C. Miller, Jr., both of Center Conway; her granddaughter, Stephanie Toolin of Carver, MA; a great-granddaughter Ella Toolin of Carver, MA; her sister, Marie Muneio of Harper Woods, MI and her brother, Gregory Blum of Shelby Township, MI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday January 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mountains Church in North Conway. There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Mountains Cemetery later in the spring.
The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
