Katherine Stevens

Katherine C. Stevens, 98, of North Conway died September 26, 2009 at her home in North Conway. Born in Brewer, Maine, the daughter of James and Mary (Denning) Dunlea, she had lived in the greater Boston area for most of her life, including Wellesley, before moving to North Conway in August 2001.

The family includes three sons, Leo C. Stevens of North Conway, Richard L. Stevens and his wife Margaret of Chatham, MA and Gerard X. Stevens of North Conway; two grandchildren, Christine M. Rank and her husband Edward of Northboro, MA and Richard L. Stevens, Jr. and his wife Leigh-Anne of Ashland, MA and four great-grandchildren, Elle K. Stevens and Elizabeth Stevens, both of Ashland, MA and Jessica Rank and Allison Rank, both of Northboro, MA.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Charles Stevens.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday September 30, 2009 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mountains Church in North Conway. Burial will be later in Glenwood Cemetery in Everett, MA. There will be no visiting hours.

The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
