Karl E. Seibel

Karl E. Seibel, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 4, 2023. He was born on November 13, 1943 in Boston, Massachusetts to Karl and Alice Seibel. Karl graduated from English High School and continued his education at Chamberlain Junior College in Boston, Massachusetts. He worked for Sysco foods for many years and then retired from food sales and became a Realtor in the Mount Washington Valley. Karl was the president of the White Mountain Board of Realtors in 2010 and then received the Realtor of the Year award the following year. Karl was the ultimate sports enthusiast routing for all New England teams especially the Patriots and Red Sox! He enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and was an avid golfer who loved the game of golf and looked forward to playing with his friends at the North Conway Country Club. Karl loved cooking for his family, and his grandchildren always looked forward to ¨Grampy´s¨ special prime rib dinner on Christmas Eve. He also loved planting beautiful flowers on his back deck for the enjoyment of his wife and many friends who visited. He looked forward to escaping to Florida and other warm areas in the winter with friends and family to sneak in a few more rounds of golf! Karl had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a witty comeback. He enjoyed volunteering at the North Conway Community Center. Karl was Santa's helper for over 10 years and also enjoyed coaching his grandson, Brett´s Little League baseball teams. Karl was an amazing grandfather and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He looked forward to attending their many sporting events and concerts. He also loved animals, especially his dogs Brady and Bella. Karl was predeceased by his son, Michael, sister, Wilma, niece, Laurel, parents, Karl and Alice Seibel and mother and father in law, Milly and Gus Puleo. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lorraine; his daughter and son in law, Gina and Mark Miller and their children, Abby and Brett; his son Michaelś four children, Timothy, Isaiah, Noah, and Ellijah Seibel. Karl is also survived by his nephew, Glen and his family; sister in laws, Roberta, Maryann, Camille, and Donna. Karl left behind many treasured nieces, nephews and friends. A wake will be held at Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway on Friday June 16th from 4 to 6 pm. A Service at the Christ Episcopal Church on Pine Street will be held on Saturday June 17th at 10am with a gathering to follow for friends and family.
