Jeanne Bradley Obituary

Jeanne Claire (Bonin) Bradley passed peacefully at age 79 at her home in Intervale, NH on November 23, 2024 after a period of declining health. Her son Keith Bradley and sister Cecile Zielinski were by her side. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on December 19, 1944, the second daughter of the late Claire Y. (Bonnevie) Bonin and Honore L. Bonin. She had lived in Massachusetts in Byfield, Lynn, Boston, Waltham, and in Foxborough where she resided for twenty-nine years before retiring to Intervale, NH in 2000. While enjoying the mountain views for these last twenty-four years she was a member of the Ladies League of the Wentworth Golf Club in Jackson. She and her late husband Jim Bradley wintered in The Villages, Florida where he passed away in 2013. While living in Byfield in her youth, she attended Newbury schools and Newburyport High school. When the family moved back to Lynn in 1962, she became a 1963 graduate of Lynn English High School. She was also a graduate of Bentley College and followed her career in accounting at Mellon Bank in Boston (formerly Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Co.) and at Frugal Fannie’s in Westwood. She was a passionate reader, a liberal in politics, and an enthusiastic sports fan. While living in Foxborough, she was a member and treasurer of Foxboro Youth Baseball’s instructional League and served on their Board of Directors. In 1968 she was wed to James Bradley, the love of her life, whom she met while working at BSD&TrCo. Two sons were born to them, Keith Bradley of Jackson, NH and Eric (Claudia) Bradley of Cumberland, RI. In addition to her two sons, she is survived by four grandsons: Reece, Cole and Finn Bradley, all of Jackson, NH and by Matthew Bradley of Cumberland, RI, all of whom were her greatest pride and joy. She is also survived by her brothers Thomas (Cheryl) Bonin of North Conway and Fr. Raymond Bonin of Mexico, formerly of Derry, NH. Her sisters Cecile (Robert) Zielinski of Newburyport, MA; Marie Escott of North Andover, MA and Jacqueline (Robert) Gulezian of Peabody, MA and her sister in-law Emily Bonin of Foxboro, MA. All will miss her dearly as will her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and seven siblings: Peter of the Philippines, Paul of Wisconsin, Anne-Marie of Andover, MA; Louis of Palm Bay, FL; Phillip of Foxborough, MA; Emilie (Leo) Smyrlian of Reading, MA; and Alice (Nicholas) Samatis of Wareham, MA. Arrangements were made through Furber Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A celebration of life is being planned for some time in the New Year.
