Janet M. Gaschott, 92, of Effingham died Tuesday, December 22nd at the home of her dear care givers, Heather and Michael Richard who administered loving and compassionate care to Janet for nearly two years.
She was born in Queens, New York and attended Richmond Hill High School in Queens. She was employed by the New York Telephone Company for 30 years at which time she resided in East Setuaket, New York. In 1989 she moved to New Hampshire after the passing of her beloved husband, Joe, to whom she had been married for 46 years.
Janet is survived by her children, Joseph Gaschott, Jr. and wife, Phyllis of Silver Lake and Richard Gaschott and wife, Sue, of Miami, Florida, her grandchildren, Allison (Gaschott) Baker and husband, Dave, of East Conway, and Toby Gaschott and wife, Amy, of Center Conway, and Adam Gaschott, of Miami, Florida, and by her great grandchildren, Tucker and Tehya Gaschott of Center Conway.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the Spring in Port Jefferson, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gibson Center for Senior Services, Main St., No. Conway, N.H. 03860
