James H. Taynor, 76, of North Conway died July 18, 2010 at Mineral Springs in North Conway, following a long illness. Born in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Harry and Nancy (Shipley) Taynor, he grew up in Columbus and lived in Lowell, MA for several years prior to moving to North Conway in 1986.
Mr. Taynor had been employed at the Glen Ellis Campground in Glen for over fifteen years in the maintenance department.
The family includes two daughters, Julianne Jones of East Waterboro, ME and Constance L. Vance of Florida; four sons, Anthony L. Hugar, Stanley G. Hugar and Lawrence E. Hugar, all of Florida and Kenneth Taynor of Arizona; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra G. Taynor, in 2002 and two sisters, Betty Jean Bush and Dixie Lee Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday August 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Julianne Jones, 150 Old Alfred Road, East Waterboro, ME.
