James Michael Porter

James “Jamie” Michael Porter Jr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his beloved friends, family and his loyal dogs on November 26, 2023 at 11:11 am. Jamie fought a brief but courageous battle with aggressive cancer which was diagnosed only six weeks ago. Jamie was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 7, 1969 to the late James Michael Porter Sr. and his mother Rachelle Porter. He grew up in Pembroke, Massachusetts with his parents and younger sister Melanie Porter, whom he was always so proud of. He had a passion for hockey. He was a die hard Bruins fan and never missed a game. Jamies proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren. Jamie is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lisa Porter, his children Anna Perry and her husband Matthew Perry of Madison, his sons, Brandon and Charles of Center Conway, and his grandchildren Brooke and Carson of Madison NH. Jamie also adored his many nieces and nephews along with his Aunt Laurel and Uncle Brian. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday December 3rd, at Furber funeral home from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 4th, at Our Lady of the Mountain at 10am. A celebration of life will follow at the American Legion on Tasker Hill Road in Conway, NH.
