James Willard Ainsworth, 70, better known as Chubba, passed away March 26, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Born to Joyce and Willard Ainsworth September 3, 1954. He grew up in Bartlett, NH, attended Kennett High School, then purchased a home in Glen, NH. Jim worked ski patrol at Attitash for 14 years, helped found the Bartlett-Jackson Ambulance Service, was a self-employed carpenter for most of his career, then worked at the Bartlett Transfer Station. He cherished his family, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at camp in Pittsburg, NH. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Deborah, their daughters Brittany Ramsdell and her husband Matthew, Courtney Ainsworth and her husband Shawn, grandchildren Logan and Ainsley Ramsdell, sister Barbara Hartwell and her significant other Don Mayer, niece Katie Marsh, sister Debbie Quam and her husband Alan, and niece Sarah Quam. Arrangements were made through Furber Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A celebration will be scheduled at a later date
