Jacquelyn Sutton Obituary

Jacquelyn C. Sutton, 25, of North Conway, died tragically Saturday October 2, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway after being struck by a vehicle while jogging.
Born in North Conway, the daughter of Charles and Elaine (Prince) Sutton, she was a lifelong resident of North Conway.
Jacquie graduated from Kennett High School in Conway with honors in 2003 and St. Michael's College cum laude in Burlington, VT with a triple major in Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology.
Jacquie had both a strong drive for academics and an innate sense to help others.
From an early age her gift in academics was evident. From spelling bee champ to English awards, National Honor Society and later graduating cum laude at St.Michael's college.
As a volunteer, she had been a member of the Kennett Key club, participated in Angles and Elves and ushered at Our Lady of the Mountains beside her late grandfather Donald Prince. While in college, her passion for helping others continued and was evident through her participation in several college sponsored service trips, the M.O.V.E. program, and Best Buddies.
She had worked as a social worker at Lund Family Center in Burlington and was currently preparing to pursue her master's degree.
At the end of the day, Jacquie, to those who knew her was full of life and wit. She was always quick to come up with a joke or a catch phrase when you needed one, and even when you didn't. She had an uncanny ability to say what others were thinking, and her perspective on life was refreshing. She loved figure skating with her best friend, target shooting with her brothers, and catching a movie with her sisters. She enjoyed running, music, the ocean and hanging out with her SMC friends. But, more than anything, Jacquie loved her family, especially her nephews and nuppies (nieces/nephew puppies).
The family includes her parents, Charles and Elaine Sutton of North Conway; four siblings, Carolyn Iorio and her husband James of Hyde Park, NY, Cha
