Gregory Lee Frizzell Gregory Lee Frizzell was born in Lowell Massachusetts on August 20th, 1970 to his loving parents Jane and Ron Frizzell. Moving to Auburn, Maine, in 1975, Greg attended Edward Little High School and Gould Academy. He was an incredibly gifted alpine skier and it remained a lifelong passion. He graduated from Colorado State University with a major in journalism and had a true love of the written word which paired well with his musical talents. During his time in college he discovered the sport of polo where he not only became a lover of horses but made some of his closest friends. He also loved fishing, boating, and any pick-up basketball or hockey game throughout his life. After graduation, he worked with his dad at radio stations in Portland Maine. In 2001, with their families, he and his dad moved to North Conway after they purchased Radio Stations 93.5 WMWV and 104.5 WVMJ-Magic104. In 2010 Greg took over the stations as president and owner. During that time, he added Easy 95.3FM. Greg will not only be remembered for his quick and funny wit but also his big heart. He created and sponsored the Mount Washington Valley Community Food Drive which raises thousands of dollars and hundreds of pounds of food for the needy in our area every year during the holiday season. On top of donating a third of air time to free public service announcements, he served as a board member of the Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Starting Point and later as their president. He has served on the board of directors of the Ham Foundation, The New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters, Memorial Hospital and several other non-profit organizations. Beyond his service to the community and his personal and professional accomplishments, Greg’s greatest work was the love he gave to his family and friends. His capacity to love and laugh was limitless. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him will always remember his humor and compassion; and he will live forever in the hearts of the many people he touched.
