Gloria H. Theophelakes

Gloria (Pelletier) Theophelakes, age 87, Marlborough, MA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Born in Salem, MA, Gloria graduated from Ste. Chretienne Academy and entered the convent upon her graduation. She was called to secular life in 1976 where she served as Director of Religious Education for various Catholic parishes. She married her beloved husband Arthur in 1981 and they moved to Center Conway, NH after Arthur’s retirement. Gloria finished her career at Our Lady of the Mountains in North Conway, NH which held a very special place in her heart. On July 13, 2025 she reaffirmed her vows to the Sisters of Ste Chretienne. She served the Lord throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage and her sister Claire. She will be lovingly remembered by her two nephews Paul Theophelakes and his wife Kirsten of Tewksbury, MA, and Marc Theophelakes and his wife Kathy of Dorr, MI, great nieces Lauren and husband Joshua Quint & family of Middleville, MI and Kimberly and husband Kyle Clark & family of Noraville, NSW, Australia. Visitation will be on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 2pm-4pm at Furber & White funeral home, North Conway NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Mountains, on Saturday, May 16, at 11 a.m. Gloria will be laid to rest with her husband, Arthur, in Bartlett, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alliance Health at Marie Esther Nursing Home, 720 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA 01752.
