Glenn Campbell Obituary

Glenn A. Campbell, 54, of Center Conway died May 24, 2010 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, following a sudden illness. He was born in Providence RI, the son of David and Eleanor (Battey) Campbell and spent much of his time growing up in Newton and Andover MA. As a young adult he lived briefly in Maui, Hawaii, a place that stayed in his heart forever. He purchased a home in Center Conway NH where he lived for more than 25 years.

Glenn was a 1973 graduate of Andover High School. He also attended Montserrat School of Art in Beverly and Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Granite State College in 2006.

Mr. Campbell worked at several area restaurants as a server, bartender, and manager at the Red Parka Pub, Horsefeathers, The White Mountain Hotel and the Muddy Moose Restaurant. Glenn was also a guide for Raven Wildlife Interpretive Wildlife Programs.

Glenn was a generous and compassionate man whose love knew no bounds. He loved spending his time surrounded by his cats, family and friends, and taking in the Mt. Washington Valley, his heaven on Earth, on his motorcycle.

For most, he will be remembered for his warmth, his vibrancy, his political discourse, passion for sports, but above everything else his extraordinary sense of humor.

He was always so proud of his daughters, like anything else he could talk about them for hours on end. Glenn and his wife Judy had an unconditional love for one another. Watching them together made anyone hope to find a love as wonderful as theirs.

The family includes his wife, Judith (Boulay) Campbell of Center Conway; two daughters, Molly C. Campbell of Bartlett and Bonnie L. Campbell of Moultonborough; a stepdaughter, Cailyn M. O'Donnell of Manchester, CT; a stepson, Jake T. O'Donnell of Dover; his parents of Jefferson, ME; six siblings, Janice Lindsay of Damariscotta, ME, Cheryl DiTucci of Webster, NY, Larry Campbell of Brookline, MA, Doug Campbell of Cape
