Gerard A. Labrie passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (McCluskey) with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage on April 19, 2012.
Born April 14, 1931 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, He was the son of Henri J. Labrie and Aurore (Poirier) Labrie.
He graduated from North Attleboro High School and attended Rhode Island School of Design.
Jerry worked for the Foxboro Company in Foxboro, MA. as a design engineer for 27 years and retired in 1985.
He and his wife have resided in Conway for the past 23 years .
In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by his three loving children and their spouses, Diane Palmer and her husband Bob of Attleboro MA., Mark Labrie and his wife Kelly of Fryeburg, ME. and Cindy George and husband Doug of Deer Park, WA., a brother Roland Labrie and his wife Irene of Sarasota , FL. , a sister Lillian Labrie of North Attleboro, MA ,.seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several brother and sister in law's as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog "Rusty".
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church in North Attleboro, MA.
The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
