Gene DeWitt

Gene Henry DeWitt passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023.He passed away at Memorial Hospital in North Conway. He was the son of Harland and Frances DeWitt of Conway N.H. Both of which are deceased. He worked many different jobs in his lifetime. He served in the United States Army and was a Ferrier and a logger for many years. Until he had a tragic logging accident in 1977. That ended that career. He leaves behind his 2 loving children. Gene Michael DeWitt of N.H and his daughter Shannon Maureen DeWitt of Wisconsin. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He also leaves behind his older brother Albert DeWitt of N.H. Arlane Lamper of N.H and Eunice Harriman of ME. Arrangements were made through Furber Funeral home and Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held on July 6, 2024 at The Conway village Cemetery at 11:00 am.
