Frank G. Parent, 64, of Center Conway passed with his wife by his side, he fought a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. He was born November 13, 1947 to Leopold Parent and Colleen Pickering Parent.
Frank is survived by his wife, Sandra Parent, 3 daughters Kelley Thurston and her husband Howard of Oxford, ME; Crystal Parent of Conway; Courtney Sparks & her husband Mitchell of East Fryeburg, ME and a son Richard Perreault, Jr. of Fryeburg, ME; 2 sisters; Mary Holt of Center Conway; Donna Hatch and her husband David of Fryeburg, ME; a brother Robert Blow of Manchester; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Frank spent all of his life in the Mount Washington Valley area working in the lumber business as one of the top salespeople at Chick Home Center, Northern Building Supply and Hancock Lumber-known for his exemplary customer service he went above & beyond for his customers; he owned & operated a gun shop "Custom Reloads" for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family-which also included his beloved pets, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles through the years brought him extreme pleasure, camping & boating on Long Lake and traveling with his wife in their RV throughout this beautiful country. He was a life-member and past President of the Carroll County Fish, Game & Shooting Club where he taught hunter and bow hunter education.
At Frank's request there will be a "Celebration of His Life Gathering" to be held on August 18th from 4-8 pm in the Agricultural Building at Fryeburg Fair feel free to bring your favorite dish to share. The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
