Forrest J. (Brownie) Brown, 94, of North Conway, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.
Mr. Brown was a US Army veteran and former POW of World War II and worked as a carpenter for the Lucy family at Conway Supply for 40 years. He spent many hours in his workshop designing and building beautiful furniture for family and friends.
The family includes his beloved husband of Elizabeth (Lamper) Brown of North Conway; he was a loving father of Forrest (Jim) Brown, Jr. of Merrimac, Harland (Harley) Brown (deceased) of Milford, Marie Ciriello of Conway (formerly of Norwood, MA) and Stephen Brown of Chatham and beloved grandfather of Douglas and Daniel Brown, Daniella French and Patrick Brown, Ann Marie Queenan and Emilio Ciriello, Jr., and Lisa Dewhurst. Brownie will also be missed by ten great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Daisy.
Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway, followed by a remembrance service at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012. Being a lover of all animals, donations may be made to the Conway animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
