Edward “Ed” Andrews (80), a resident of Attitash Woods in Bartlett, NH, passed away at his home on January 21, 2024. Ed was born on May 28, 1943 in Swampscott, MA to Howard and Elizabeth Andrews. He lived a full, robust, and happy life. Ed lived on his own terms, residing in his own personal sanctuary of over 30 years with a stunning view of Mount Washington which he often described to his friends and family. His love of the outdoors and the Valley community had him working part-time at Cranmore Mountain Resort in Guest Services until his retirement. He always had a friendly greeting and a joke to share with mountain visitors. Riding his motorcycle, reading by the fire, gazing at the scenic views, and whistling with his parrot, Taz, brought him such joy. He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara “BJ” Zapora Andrews. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie (Gary) Lambert, four children - Ted/Akiva (Caryn), Wendy, David (Melissa), and Heather (Derek), and six grandchildren - Emily, Rose, Andy, Genevieve, Griffin, and Raven. The family will be holding a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choosing.
