Doreen Tabor Obituary


Doreen A. Tabor, 54, of Albany died April 30, 2012 at Mass General Hospital in Boston of a Rare Blood Disease, Primary Cardiac Amyloidosis. Doreen touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was a voracious reader, loved gardening, hiking with her dog Kimmie & her husband, was an extremely talented Jewelry Designer, known as "Designs by Doreen". She enjoyed her career as a professional waitress, having worked at Cinnamon Tree, Grammy MacIntosh and Café Noche where she had spent the last 19 years. Known to many as "Mamma Noche" and "The salsa B#@!H". Doreen also spent the last year of her life as bookkeeper at Debit One, where she loved the staff that she worked with. She cherished all get-togethers, especially times spent with family.
She will be sadly missed by her family which includes, her husband Michael Watson, mother Marilyn Elliott, Son's Jesse & Scott Tabor, daughter Catherine McDonald, beloved dog Kimmie Jean Tabor, granddaughter's Caitlyn Howard & Ashley McAllister. Brother's Robert Elliott, Kevin Elliott & wife Andrea, Michael Elliott & wife Mary. Her niece's Brooke Elliott and Krystal Brown, nephew Mitchell Brown. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley S. Tabor and Father Robert A. Elliott.
Visiting hours will be held Friday May 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home, North Conway.
A "Celebration of Doreen's Life" will be held at her home, 49 Tabor Circle, Albany, NH on May 19, 2012 at 3 to 8 p.m. All that knew and loved her are welcome.
