Diane L. (Maddison) Swansburg of Hales Location, New Hampshire, Sarasota, Florida, and formally, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2025 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Diane was the daughter of the late Jean and Louise (Bell) St.Laurent, of Lynn, MA. Diane is survived by her husband, George F. Swansburg of Hales Location, NH, son in law, Robert G. Kirk, of Alexandria, VA, her grandsons, Ryan Kirk of Alexandria, VA, Colin Kirk of Alexandria, VA, stepson, Christopher Swansburg and wife, Erin of Strafford, NH, step grandson, Charlie Swansburg, of Strafford NH, step granddaughters, Molly and Madeline Swansburg of Strafford, NH, step daughter in law, Sacha Swansburg, of Conway, NH, step grandson, Nicholas Swansburg and wife Lily, of Center Conway, NH, step granddaughter, Mariah Husted and husband Clark, of Berlin, NH, step granddaughter, Ariel McMahon, and husband, Corey, of North Conway, NH, and four step great-grandsons, Jackson and Maverick McMahon, and Howard and Burnham Swansburg. Diane was predeceased by her first husband, John Maddison, of Tewksbury, MA, her beloved daughter, Jennifer Kirk of Alexandria, VA, stepson, Stephen Swansburg, of West Ossipee, NH, and step grandson, Gregory Palmer, of Tamworth, NH. Diane graduated from Lynn English High School, in Lynn, Massachusetts in 1960. Following high school, she attended Chandler Secretarial School of Boston. Upon graduating, she worked in insurance on Broad Street in Boston. She later joined the Gleason Insurance Agency in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and remained there for 25 years until her retirement in 2002. Diane was an avid golfer and member at the Heritage Oaks Golf & Country Club in Sarasota, FL, and a 23 year member at the Hales Location Golf Club, in Hales Location, NH. Diane had a love for music and dance, and participated in the Touch Program for over 10 years in Sarasota, Florida. A special thank you to Tammy Wood and all of the caregivers at Timberland Home Care. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 11:00 to 12:30 at Furber and White Funeral Home, 2925 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, NH, followed by a funeral mass at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Mountains Church, 2905 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, NH. Burial will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 134 Broadway, Lynn, MA.
