Dennis Lamarre

Dennis Leon Lamarre, 52, died March 10, 2010 in North Conway after a short period of illness. Denny was a loving and caring person as many Down syndrome people are. He brought smiles to the faces of everyone who met him. While in the care of New Hampshire Human Services, he loved his pottery and art classes. But most of all, he loved ice cream and 4-wheeling!! For the last few years he had been under the superb and loving care of Becky Forbes and her family.

Denny is survived by his father, Alfred M. Lamarre of Woodsville; four brothers, Alan Lamarre of Dover, Bruce Lamarre of North Haverhill, Bob Lamarre of Denver, CO and Albert Lamarre of Dublin and several nieces and nephews.

Denny will be buried beside his mother's grave in Bath, in the early summer.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday March 16, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway with Pastor Sue Davidson, officiating. There will be no visiting.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to New Hampshire Special Olympics program or the charity of your choice.
