Boyd Parker, Jr.

Boyd "Bucky" Parker, Jr., 76, of Center Ossipee passed away at his home on January 6, 2013. Born in Winchester, MA on April 12, 1936, the son of Boyd and Muriel (Steele) Parker, he grew up in South Portland, ME where he played all sports throughout his school years.
He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1958 and Northeastern University Management Development in 1978.
Bucky retired from UNUM Insurance and moved to Center Ossipee to enjoy his love of golf and the Indian Mound Golf Course.
The family includes his wife of fifty years, Sandra (Clark) Parker of Center Ossipee; his son, Scott Parker and his wife Sylvia of Simsbury, CT; two daughters, Wendy Swan and her husband Kenneth of Gorham, ME and Suzanne Sines and her husband Roger of McHenry, MD; four grandchildren, Matthew Parker and Grace Parker of Simsbury, Ct and Jessica Mattson and Connor Mattson of Phoenix, MD and a sister, Carolyn Crowley and her husband David of San Jose, CA.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway is in charge of arrangements.
